Laptops for Schools in Africa
MARIA MONTESSORI SCHOOL, KUMASI, GHANA – SCHEME TO SUPPLY DEVICES FOR 1,100 STUDENTS
Founded in 1989, Maria Montessori School, Kumasi, Ghana has grown from its humble beginnings of 8 students to its current student population of 1,100. They have a crèche and continue to Junior High School Level which is the equivalent to Year 9 in the UK. The school is a non-profit organisation and continues to strive to provide modern facilities in an environment of academic excellence. However with fees of just £90.00 a term, they rely on the assistance of companies such as ours to help them achieve their goals. This year we are completing an order of over 1,000 laptops to be used individually in the classroom.
We are now looking to fulfil IT requirements in other areas as part of a network of private of schools.
